Welcome to the Membership Community of the National Academy of Coaching Psychology Ltd (NACP). We are a Supervision, Training, Research & Membership Institute. We provide supervision for psychologists in training for coaching psychology accreditation. With our affiliated centres, we run continuing professional development programmes and conferences.
Directors of the National Academy of Coaching Psychology Ltd include award winning psychologists, Prof Stephen Palmer and Dr Siobhain O’Riordan. Both are ISCP Accredited Coaching Psychologists and supervisors, and Chartered Coaching Psychologists. They both publish research and edit peer reviewed journals. Dr O’Riordan is Director of Professional Development.
Over the 12 months we will be greatly increasing the resources on our knowledge based website.
Membership
All levels of membership to the National Academy of Coaching Psychology (NACP) are free. Anyone with an interest in coaching and coaching psychology can become a subscriber affiliate of the NACP. Graduate Members of the British Psychological Society (BPS) or Associate Members of the International Society for Coaching Psychology (ISCP) can join as Associate Members. Suitably qualified coaching psychologists can become Members of the NACP. This is open to MISCP and Chartered Coaching Psychologists. All members who are in practice as a coach or coaching psychologist should be a member of a relevant professional body and abide by their codes of practice. Also they should have appropriate Professional Indemnity Insurance. There are a variety of membership benefits. including membership of our Special Interest Groups.
The Research and Practice Advisory Board of the National Academy of Coaching Psychology has appointed Honorary Research Fellows who are experts or specialists in coaching psychology or an allied field. All Advisory Board members are at doctoral level.
