The National Academy of Coaching Psychology is an Institute of Leadership (IoL) Approved Centre.
The Institute of Leadership (IoL) is a leading professional body. Learners can join their unique learning experience, access 1000’s of leadership resources, and become a professional.
Our programmes are Institute Approved. Our Learners become eligible to join the Institute of Leadership and Management at Associate and Full Member levels. Psychologists can choose to enrol on the coaching psychology designated programmes.
The following programmes have been recognised as a pathway into the grade shown below with the Institute of Leadership:
1 ‘Coaching Development Programme’ has been recognised as providing eligibility for ‘Associate’ grade of IoL.
2 ‘Performance Coaching and Stress Management Programme’ has been recognised as providing eligibility for ‘Associate’ grade of the IoL.
On successfully completing programmes either 1 or 2 above, then the next programme to attend is 3:
3 ‘Psychological Coaching Development Programme’ and the ‘Coaching Psychology Development Programme‘. On completion of this programme, the Learner has then attended programmes that have been recognised as providing eligibility for ‘Member’ grade of IoL.
On completion of the modules 1 to 3 above, then Learners can apply for programme 4 below:
4 ‘Advanced Coaching Development Programme’ and the ‘Advanced Coaching Psychology Development Programme‘ has been recognised as providing eligibility for ‘Member’ grade of IoL. This programme comprises the combination of programmes 1, 2 and 3.
Moving forward:
There has been a growing interest in the field of Positive Psychology and its application to coaching, resilience, transitions and leadership. The IoL approved programme below focuses on Positive Psychology Coaching and consists of three 2-day modules:
5 ‘Positive Psychology Coaching Development Programme‘ has been recognised as providing eligibility for ‘Associate’ grade of the IoL.
